Candace T. Saldarini is the Senior Director for Applied Innovation and Process Improvement at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization. In this role, she leads projects that bring disruptive innovation and incremental process improvement to Otsuka. Candace’s focus is to deliver impactful advances in the science and operation of clinical research and development which will ultimately lead to better care for patients in need.
Throughout her career Candace has worked in multiple industries from direct clinical care, population health and quality management, digital start-ups, and data analytics solution development.
Candace earned her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Stanford University and her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She also received adult psychiatry training at Yale University and obtained her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at the University of California, Los Angeles.
